“When you come from an old southern family, you find yourself in the position of preserving family heirlooms.  The sculpture was an eagle with a wing broken off.  Barbara repaired the break and other nicks to the sculpture to the point where there was not any evidence of break or nicks.  Barbara not only repaired the sculpture but has gone on to preserve an antique coverlet from my mother’s family.  Her skills and attention to detail will ensure this family heirloom will last another 150 years.
